You don’t need to be a certified diver to enjoy the unique experience of SCUBA diving. Under the guidance and instruction of a professional PADI Open Water Instructor you can take this small course and learn the basics on SCUBA theory and the skills needed to dive for the first time in your live or keep diving without having to be a certified diver.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION
After learning the basic theory and practice basic skills in shallow water, you will take our boat and visit the National Park where you will meet with thousands of fish in a beautiful and colorful reef and visit part of the underwater museum MUSA, located within the Bahía de Mujeres. NOTE: this is not a certification course but could be credited towards your Open Water Diver PADI Course.

Do I need to have any previous experience to go Scuba Diving?
Nope! Your PADI / SDI Dive Instructor will teach you everything you need to know the day of the dive.
How long does the pre-dive training take?
You will work with your instructor for approximately one hour and a half before your dives. You will have some shallow water skills practice before you go out to the dive sites.
Can we arrange pickup from hotel before or after the diving tour?
Yes. We can pick you up from your rental house or hotel provided they have a dock where we are able to park our boat.
Can I take pictures during my first dive?
Yes, however for safety reasons, we encourage you to do the first dive without a camera, so you can pay attention to your dive instructor and their guidance.
How deep are the dive sites?
The local reef in which you will do your dives is a shallow calm reef with maximum depths of 30ft/10meters.
